Corie brings a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership to her role as a Digital Analytics Implementations Engineer at IIH Nordic. Her strong problem-solving skills are complemented by her experience leading teams, as evidenced by her success as Head of the Next Generation section at BLC.

Beyond her technical proficiency, Corie is a passionate advocate for the digital analytics community. She actively contributes by being in the organizing committee for both MeasureCamp Malmö and Copenhagen, and co-founding Women in Data and Analytics – Nordics.

Introduction from Corie

I credit my passion for problem-solving and analyzing, to my former interest in chess. Playing chess from a young age has made it easier for me to be able to switch off the distractions and just focus 100% on what I’m doing when I need to, and really analyze and look for the best possible move in whichever point I am in my life. As a recipient of a chess varsity scholarship, I was able to get my bachelor’s degree in IT.

After some years in customer service, I eventually landed an IT job on a cruise ship company where I sharpened my technical skills as well as people skills. On my final contract I was head of the IT department onboard where it was my turn to train others and spearheaded the handover of the ship’s IT department to a new managing company.

Fast forward to today, after relocating to Sweden, I then dedicated myself to learning the language and pursued to study Digital Analytics to utilize my analytical abilities.

Today I have landed my dream job where I help people set up analytics tools to track website traffic and user behavior based on their business goals. When I’m not working, I like to volunteer at BLC and analytics events like MeasureCamp and Web Analytics Wednesdays. It’s a great way to meet others in the field and share knowledge.
